In July, Ana & Octavian began their journey together and entrusted us with the role of their Yorkshire photographer. We were honoured to be there every step of the way, sharing their delight and witnessing their joy. Anticipation filled the air as friends and family gathered, ready to accompany them on the beginning of their life together.
Firstly the day kicked off with Ana’s preparation. It was a wonderful opportunity to capture her jitters and excitement before she was soon whisked off to the church. That was where she would say yes to a life time spent with Octavian. The ceremony warmed our hearts as we got the chance to witness them uniting their lives. The magic continued as they left the church, being greeted by an explosion of butterfly-shaped confetti. With each click of the camera, we froze these moments in time, creating images to be cherished a lifetime.
However, what truly left a lasting impression was the intimate portrait session with Ana and Octavian on the hotel venue’s roof terrace. The sunrise’s gentle colours spilled in, making their love palpable. The few moments of peace and quiet they shared as the sun rose needed no words. Witnessing their love then confirmed that being their Yorkshire photographer was more than just a job.
